135,000 Indians recover
The number of patients recovering from COVID-19 for the first time in India has exceeded the number of people hospitalized.
According to the Ministry of Health, 135,205 people who were infected with the virus have been recovered and have been discharged from hospitals.
There are 133,632 hospitalized patients.
However, there is a rapid increase in the number of cases of COVID-19 infections in India daily, with the highest number being reported from Mumbai and Delhi.
