COVID 19 is not ending - World Health Organization
Dr. Michael Ryan of the World Health Organization has said that the COVID 19 epidemic is "still evolving" and that it "will never end."
At a press conference in Geneva yesterday, the World Health Organization's Emergency Director said the virus was "growing in many countries of the world" and was affecting health services globally.
"Health care is now seen in many countries. Many countries are under a lot of pressure." He said.
"I think every country has different risks and opportunities at this time, and it is the responsibility of national authorities to carefully consider where they are in the epidemic.
"This may be an epidemic, it will affect the world, but it will affect every country differently depending on the date of the disease, initial response to manage the COVID 19 spread.
"This is not the end; if we look at the numbers in the last few weeks, the epidemic is still evolving. It is still developing in many countries of the world," Ryan said.
