A bunch of corona emerges from the German meat market; 650 infected people

More than 650 people working at a meat processing centre in northwestern Germany's Guterskirk have been infected with coronavirus, which was suspended yesterday by German health officials and thousands of people with whom they were suspended.

More than a thousand people at the meat processing centre have been tested for coronavirus, and thousands more are expected to be tested.

Tony's, which owns the meat processing centre, has publicly apologized for the incident.

Authorities have shut down all schools and child care centres in the region where the meat processing centre is located, due to this latest coronavirus cluster.

German Chancellor Angela Merkel has praised the efforts by authorities to prevent further spread of coronavirus in the region and has postponed all significant events in Germany until late October.

Last month, a group of migrant workers working in two meat processing centres in Germany were infected with coronavirus.
